I`m finally to the point of throwing a match to it. It will start and run fine for awhile then just cut all spark/fire. Then I`ve got no power to the MFI relay. The huge relay in the right side of center console. It cranks and cranks with no fire. Then it goes into some kind of self check and all the relays start going crazy. Fans come on, fuel pump comes on, injectors pump, doors lock/unlock.

I`ve done too many mods at once to find the problem. I`ve got a `95 GST with a 1g engine, 2.4 crank, HKS cams, GM MAF w/translator, DSMLink (that doesn`t tell me anything helpful) with a br-580 turbo. I`ve disconected all the accesories I can think of.

If I disconecct the neg terminal for 15-10 mins, It starts fine and runs for 30-45mins. Runs GREAT! Then it just cuts fire again. :banghead: Its got to be something simple right in front of me, but I just cant find anything.

Sounds like the common 1g CAS ina 2g misfire problem

In DSMlink try unchecking the box for "Random Misfire"

I cant remember where exactly it is but i know its in the ECU tab where you check CEL's

If you wired it incorrectly, yes it would not start.

But 6 bolt swaps have a common issue with throwing the random misfire code. It happened to me, although mine just went into limp mode (wasn't running on all 4 cylinders and was horrible to drive). Make sure that box is unchecked so it won't look for that code.

Tried the "misfire" check and no difference. Disconnected the ECU and put the original EPROM back in and it started just fine and ran for almost an hour before quitting. Going to try putting the DSMLink chip in tonite and find someone with a little more patience than me to figure it out.
