hello, I have a 99 :dsm: Eclipse RS and I'm putting a T3/T4 turbo in it so I'm buying all these parts for it to install it, but I've come to a small roadblock here. I need the exhaust tube that connects the exhaust end of the turbo to the exhaust pipe itself (a 90 degree bend pipe I'm thinking). I've been searching for an O2 housing and I'm not sure if that is the thing I need. I have found flanges that are weldable onto the tubing, but I actually need to FIND the piping first, and I am really getting lost here, so if someone can help me out here I would be so grateful. Thank you very much!

If you are to use an o2 housing, it will have a bung already put in for your o2 sensor. What type of turbo are you planning on putting on? You can get the flange needed, take it to an exhaust shop and have them make you a new downpipe. The only problem with that is that they will most likely need the car there to see what they are fabricating.

O2 Housings were used for MHI turbos in factory turbocharged cars. I doubt you'll find an O2 housing that'll fit your T3/T4 AND fit in your engine bay. Even if you had an MHI turbo, the O2 housing wouldn't fit right in the engine bay because most all 420A turbo manifolds aren't bottom mount.

Just get the 5-bolt or 4-bolt flange and a mandrel U-bend of the appropriate diameter. Cut it to size with a hacksaw/reciprocating saw, and have it welded to the flange. Just do what you need to do and have an exhaust shop finish up (unless you're capable of the fabrication yourself).

if you ask an exhaust shop to make you a downpipe, you wont need to buy an o2 housing since you can just weld an o2 bung to the dp then. the o2 housing is nothing more than a a 90 degree bend going down from the turbo.
