Langley,
ok, I'm looking at buying a crank pulley from Unorthodox. Can someone please explain the difference between the Tuner S and Ultra S series crank pulleys? Is there a weight difference, size, what? I want to order one asap so I need to know. And, why is the Tuner S series half the price of the Ultra S?

might be too late because I just ordered the Ultra S Series from ptuning.com, but I would still like to hear from people.

hey, i just did some research and found info about removing the harmonic balancer and its negative effects. does anyone know if the Unorthodox pulley has a balancer or if it is safe to use?

Im running an Unorthodox UDP (and i have a wright up in the Write-ups section on the install if you need it also btw)

No problems as of yet with about 1K miles on it. No squeeling belts, no losenes and no added engine shake. Just good, clean, power gains. :thumb:

PM me if you need help on the install, or read my writeup.

hey dude hes a 1gnt i dont think your write up will help much.

ive heard many horror stories of udp's on 4g63's, and the guys seem to like to stay away from them. i dunno search around

i was just out driving my car and I noticed that the engine barely shakes at idle once it warms up. I think the engine will handle the UDP not having a harmonic dampener. And, besides I may not own this car very much longer(insurance settlement :thumb: )
