My GST has a horrible stutter around 4500-7500rpms, at first i thought hey maybe ive got a leak some where, maybe its the screwed up BOV setup ive got right now (let my g/f's dad take my car out for a day, he thought maybe i needed sum coolant, his arm came down and hit my plastic stock bov nose piece (vacuum hose thing) and broke it off, now its connected by my little invention put still seems to be running peak boost) i do also know ive got the p1105 code or what ever(solenoid crap), i dunno i was just wondering if anyone knows what the hell the stutter is ? turbo maybe? easy fix? or what? Please help guys--

Yeah, replace the plugs and wires with OEM stuff. Our cars are very sensitive to spark problems. I've run into that problem twice. Plugs and wires always fixed it.

Does it continue to stutter once you reach full-boost?

Does it stutter at low revs at all?

Just curious, as I'm having a stutter problem too.. only mine only happens at low revs, partial boost, and part-throttle. WOT is fine, full-boost is fine, but if you just give her a little throttle, she stumbles and stumbles until full-boost is reached, then smooths out.

Fuel filter is the next thing to get replaced. Then perhaps the O2 sensor. I did replace plugs and wires.

Your problem could also be spark blow-out. Maybe be sure they're gapped down to at least .028?

Keep us updated...

For what it's worth, my stumbling problem (only at low revs and part-throttle) turned out to be dying coils...

I honestly don't remember exactly (dealer still has car), but I believe somewhere between $100 - $200.

Coils... I don't really know beyond knowing they work like capacitors, in a way, and store up energy to make the spark. The gurus on here will no doubt provide a good explanation.

PROBLEM SOLVED -- hey guys finally figured it out, this might be something to check if you all have this problem, or maybe im just a silly rookie but the stutter a misfire was due to the idiots who had the car last- the GAP of the sparkplug was crazy huge, pluss they were cheap and worn and needed to be replace, this was easy fix, just gapped them to specification and drove it seemed like a brand new car (well maybe not new) hell of alot more drive outta of the thing, if your having the stutter problem check the plugs and gaps !
