dual stage turbosmart boost controller

and a lsd obx or qualif

ill still be running a 7bolt bottom end what's the hp limit on the 7 bolt thanks for the quick reply

no set budget but I don't want to blow money just to blow it, for fuel ill be running 93 as its gunna be my daily driver,no idea on suspention yet that was gunna be my next question I do plan on running solid mounts and a full lsd

I used energy suspension poly bushings all around. Kyb adjustables, avid 75a mounts and a quaife lsd. Keep in mind that the mounts make your car vibrate pretty bad. Had my tranny built by tre. I would suggest a 255 rewired, high z injectors (I chose 2150s may be over kill but I'll never have to upgrade again.) with afpr. If you run a 272 cam you're going to need to look into upgrading springs. If you plan on running a lot of boost a mls and most people will recommend a 1g bov modded. There are lots of good fmic. There is a thread going right now about it. Best fmic is the title i believe. Before you buy anything, research it and look at the vendor reviews.

You can make 600hp....if you can't get it to the ground, you're not going faster than a 14.xx.

Focus on suspension mods, good motor mounts, an AWD half-shaft to eliminate torque-steer, and a good-quality LSD to get both wheels turning. As your driving improves your timeslips will get lower.

FWD's are lighter and have higher trap speeds than AWD's so you can theoretically go faster than an equally-modded AWD car IF you can get it moving.

im with you on keeping the stock valve springs for now. In the homework that ive been doing, you may want to check out the gsc-s1(gsc power division),fp1 or fp2(forced performance), and hks cams. Im sure there are others, but its a starting point for your homework.

the vibration don't bother me I drove a 1980 Camaro every day for 3 years with a 350 sbc a 292 572 lift cam and a single plane victor jr never messed with imports though and am building a 1964 nova gasser with a 377 I can make a rwd hook and no low end power don't bother me either but im used to making the back end squat and having as much weight transfer as possible

any down side to over sized injectors

what install kit do I need for 20g

Low 12's youll need 350hp or so...like others have said get your taction in order Im still using stock cams n a lil turbo and getting high 12's a 20g with supporting mods should get ya there

bigger inj are harder to get the idle down but it can be done ...im on 750cc and I think I can get 11's outta them 2150's seem overkill on 93 but what do I know

so 1000cc injectors 255 advid mounts look great deffintly on the list what is safc I hear about

For the 264/272 combo, some compaines have droped it from their production line because they gains just aren't there over a 264/264. Since your FWD I would shoot for a cam with more top end so you can dominate the back half of the track where your traction is strong. Just my opinion. I don't build FWDS but if I were to thats how I would roll. I also would do suspension first above all else. Everyones so quick to dive for the power mods. Adjustable shocks would be good, if you can afford it coilovers for more adjustability. In my mind would think you would want the shocks turned up stiffer in the rear to help keep the front end from lifting and breaking traction. As far as the front im thinking a medium to softer setting to absorb some wheel spin but I could be totally wrong.

You would like a 3inch magnaflow muffler, deep tone and non ricey

is it possible to mount the mufflers under the car not at the bumper funny my Camaro ran two 3 inch magnaflows so cam recommendations are straight 272 or 264s and track time wont be my main concern more concerned with being able to spool the turbo fast enogh to run stop light to stop light

Haha your like me. You like that redlight to redlight rumble. Are you trying to go td05 20g or td06? If td05 it spools really fast so it doesnt matter so much on which cam. Im not telling you not go go 264/272 but there are people on here with much more cam experience that can tell you more. I just know Delta droped the 264/272 combo because the gains between the 2 were not large enough for them to keep making. 264 and 272 are just duration. Theres a lot more that goes into choosing a cam then just that. 264s will give you more of a wide power band and not so peaky from my understanding. BC272s are more of a peak power 272s where as HKS 272s seem to kick in lower in the power bang. Try and read some of the posts on cam review. Everyone has a different opinion. If you want something better for down low 264s are the way to go. I like kelford 272s myself.

Fic told me 1100s will get you 500hp with stock fuel pressure. Anymore and you'll have to turn your fp up. I'm going for 500hp to begin with then up to 650. I didn't want to turn my fp up so that's why I went 2150s. I just work with a tuner (my1gdsm). If you're going to be paying a tuner injector size isn't a big deal. I ran a tdo6h 20g for a while and I loved it.

Fps products are top notch you can't go wrong there. Vrsf is what I'm going to get when I'm ready to upgrade from my greddy. The greddy type s is a good bov as well. Ive had mine for over 5 years and it still works perfect. As for ac idk why you wouldnt be able to keep it. First I've heard of not being able to keep ac because of cams. Best bet would be to check out the vendors on here, call them and tell them what you're wanting. They'll help you out.

Forced Performance Turbochargers: MHI 20G w/ DSM 8CM and FP Manifold

this is the turbo ive been looking at tdoh mhi turbo from forced performance and are the 272 to much to keep a/c I live in south florida and never had a fast car with a/c if possible I would like to keep it

and ive decided to go with a vrsf fmic with a greedy type s bov any bad to this setup

I bought this turbo and manifold (ported on both) and I'm extremely excited to run it with the vrsf intercooler and tial qr in the spring. The turbo should spool quick, for your fwd you might have more traction issues in the lower rpm where a bigger turbo may be easier to launch and have mote top end but that's personal opinion and preference the 20g has potential for good hp/torque. Is the greddy a recirc bov? The safc is just a fuel controller increase and decrease fuel as needed, if your going with cams and all the goodies the tuning from eculink or a blackbox would be beneficial as you can adjust more parameters and monitor more then a setup with an safc. After a fair amount of reading I think a cam in the 260-266 duration with the right specs will be the way to go with the 20g, save some power in the low rpm and get some more out of it when it really hits.

ive had issues with a/c and big cams in the Camaro because idle quality was so low it would almost stall just making sure that wont be an issue with the gst
