Resolved Help ME!!!! walbro 255 install

I am installing a walbro 255 pump in my 95 gsx. I am trying to get the fitting off of the main line from the bottom of the car. I broke it loose and it spilled gas everywhere but if i keep twisting the nut it gets tight agian. if i turn it back to the other way it also gets tight. wtf do I do to get this thing off?

keep twisting it the proper way, its probly just dirt, or something in the threads

it just keeps getting tighter and tighter. is the hose supposed to turn or are the nuts just supposed to turn off of each other? is it supposed to be easy after the nuts initially break loose?

hold on... yeah, which side are you turning?

The "nut" on the side of the flex hose doesnt turn. The nut on the metal tube is the one that turns.

ok, i can only turn it so much and then it tightens back up. if i twist it any harder i am afraid of breaking it.

odd. its just a regular thread. Just make sure to hold the larger one steady, and dont bend the metal line.

try turning the male end [ you are talking about UNDER the car right? ] it puzzled me for a sec but i figure dit out/.. good luck
