help me pick a turbo

I'm not familiar with dsm turbos. Mine recently died (whines, no boost, now I get some good grinding sounds). I've got supporting fuel mods, 550's, walboro 190. I've got greddy's profec e-01 and emanage, but I've yet to tune. I'm not interested in HP, I'd rather have the responsiveness of a quick spool. I don't want to spend more than 700. So my question is, 16g, big 16g, 20g, or something else? Also if you could recommend a shop to purchase from, that'd be a big help. I've researched these turbos, but spool characteristics are often neglected in the reviews.

16g will be fine, id get the evo 16g, spool will be about the same as the 14b.

Forced Performance: Mitsubishi EVO III Big 16g Turbo

The E316G is probably the best bang for your price range. You probably won't even notice much of a spool time difference.

x2 16g its a good turbo and probably the most common upgrade most guys do for a DD.
