my friend is getting a new car but he wont tel me what kind all he will tell me isa picture of the engine and said if u figure out what kinda engine that is then you will kno what kinda car im getting

so i am enlisting the help of you guys

that is a dsm.

and that car is a 95 or it is just really dirty to because the 95 has a darker green that the 96+

that is a 95 or 96 eclipse or talon. that is about all........it looks like the 420a engine but there is an intercooler there so maybe adding a turbo...

The engine is in the wrong place for a 420A, the cam gears are on the wrong end, etc etc...

It is a dsm, most likely 2g, with a turbo xs bov, fmic, EGT gauge, stock radiator, Power steering still in the car, and it looks like it has NGK plug wires.
