So, I just bought a '97 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. When the dude sold it to me, he said "there are some goodies in the trunk for free."

I assumed he left a dead body or some crack in there or something. But as it turns out, he stuck in all the spare parts he had lying around. I have been able to identify most of it, but don't know anything about this differential that I found in there:

Can someone tell me about it? Is it an OEM differential? Some gem? Piece of crap? Thanks!

Best I can tell, it looks like a stock center diff, maybe a 4 spider. Look through the holes and see if it has 4 spider gears or just 2. If it is just 2, it is stock. If there is 4, it is a modded stock center diff.

I looked at it again, and it does have 4 spider gears. So this is just a modified OEM center diff with more spiders to make it stronger? Good to know. Thank you.
