help me! i need a wise man... ecu problems

Hey guys, I've been having problems with my dsm, a few weeks ago I had a bunch of problems which lead to me rePlacing the coil pack with a 91-94 coil pack and the ecu with a 91-94 and I was in the process of doing the power transistor swap but I couldn't follow the guide that is here on tuners I've tried it every way I could think of but it won't spark, so now I'm thinking either my powder transistor is bad or I wired the coil pack wrong, who knows a working link on how to swap the power transistor, and how to swap the coils, I'm at my wits end with this car

I'm not an expert by any means,but I thought there were a couple wires you had to swap in order to use the newer ecu on the older car? There were a couple wires that plug into the ecu. I think. Please don't chastise me or call me stupid if I'm wrong. But feel free to call me a genius if I'm right edit: after a quick search it says you have to swap wires 6 and 14 if you haven't already.

you have to do the power transistor to get the right tach signal to the ecu, and wire each wire to its corresponding pin on the plug, but i figured it out, it will crank, but its missing like a b***
