I am about to pull my head because of unknown valvetrain problems and I picked up a rebuilt head today rather than rebuild mine. However, when I inspected the new head that I picked up I noticed that the valvesprings look different. I know for a fact that the parts used in the new head are OEM and the valvesprings in the old head are powdercoated grey. Does anybody know what manufacturer these could be? I'm assuming eibach as I know that they make valvesprings, and they are notorious for powdercoating their springs, but I would like to know before I stick the OEM head on there because the old head only has under 20K on it and I would rather fix the one broken valve if it has better parts in it.
