i'm in the process of finishing up the rebuild on my laser and i plan to run dsmlink to tune it. i had bought a used ecu from gary at mitsu graveyard a while back and i just wanted to ask if it can be identified as a 91 turbo 5speed ecu from the part number. and will it work if i sent it out to the guys at dsmlink to get socketed for the software, etc...

part # MD166260... then there more numbers underneath that read....e2t36574

i would greatly appreciate any help from the wisemen

thanks alot

Yes, that is the correct number. MD16620 is a '91 fwd m/t ecu.

If the ecu is an eprom, then you can send it off to get socketed for the dsmlink.

To see if it is an eprom,

Hold the White female harness plug towards the top, then look on the bottom right hand corner for a processer.
