my 98 gst runs fine as long as you don't push the throttle past 50%.
anthing past 50% throttle and the engine will stutter terribly, its like a horrible bog.
i can go 100mph plus, i just have to NOT floor it.

Check for air leaks: leaks in all piping from air filter to throttle body (tighten clamps), intake manifold gasket leak (spray around it with wd40 to see if engine idle drops), dirty air filter.

Take out and throw away whatever non-NGK spark plugs you have, replace them with BPR6ES gapped at .028", and treat the beast to a new set of plug wires.

Any auto store has NGK plugs, even NAPA.

i have ngks , how do you check your plug wires and coil? wht are good wires if i want to upgrade?
i did the boost leak thats what i am going to work on toight is the unkown huge leak coming from the back side of my throttle body!!! as far as mods i have K&N intake filter,tubular exhaust manifold, external dump o2 housing, 3" exhaust (strait piped) full emissions delete!

It's the IAC motor doing a recalibrate which is normal.

what is IAC?
the problem was a boost leak mainly from the throttle body gasket wich is fixed. it still studers slightly, so i am still searching for more leaks thanks alot guys. just one more question, there is a screw on the throttle body that looks like its made to adjust the idle and i have a boost leak from there, how do you seal that screw??????

IAC stands for idle air control.

You can buy a new biss screw and o-ring from a parts vendor or just go to your local hardware store and pick up the o-ring if the biss screw is still in good condition
