Help Engine Problems!!!!

Hey guys I have a serious problem here. I am in the process of getting my motor changed ### my other one went bad on me. So, while its at the place waiting for the engine to arrive, my window was smashed in and my springs and shocks which were sitting in the back waiting to be installed were stolen and they said im liable . Now, i had ordered an engine from ebay off of this site http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-...33615QQitemZ8035641962QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW but the place that is installing my motor says it doesnt fit?!?? Now, after having my parts stolen and being out 500 bucks i have to pay a 30% restocking fee because they swear they have the right engine. I own a 95 Eclipse GSX i was curious as to why this wouldnt fit?? Does anyone have any ideas?

they're filling you full of shit, that engine should be a direct drop-in, possibly with a few small part swaps. they probably just want you to buy one from them, that's why they told you that.

Im positive its a 7 bolt motor i told the man i own a 95 gsx and i need a 2g motor and he goes "ok 2g 4g63 motor for turbo eclipse" and i said yes. I think its just the shop being stupid because i have a 16g on it right now and they jsut said i dont even own a right turbo to match up with the engine then i explained i had it on the car prior to this and she kinda seemed to understand. She also was telling me her prices persuading me to buy one from her. Plus, arent all 2g motors ones that come with silver tops? The guy said its not a 1g motor ### it doesnt have a red top.

not necessarily because of the tops, but they've sold quite a bit of motors so i think they would know if it's the 6 or 7 bolt. just buy it and bring it to the shop and tell them to install it and that you KNOW it's the right one.

Get your motor back, bring it to the shop and tell them to install it. And if they say its the wrong motor just tell them you don't care just put it in. Sounds like the shop is just trying to make some money off of you by selling you one of there motors.

wtf? Take it to a different shop. If those idiots say that is the wrong motor for a GSX you don't want them touching your car because they don't know shit.

If the car is in there possesion they are responsible for what happens to it. They should have shop insurrence that should cover your stolen parts. GET YOUR CAR OUT OF THERE!!!

yeah because they could had done it smashed the window and make it look like it was stolen.
