Winnipeg,
I was driving on the highway...and then all of a sudden my exhaust like backfires and then the rpms go crazy around 1 and 2 then hits 0 and car turns off. I dunno what happened i had electrical problems before but anyways its towed to a local autosport shop. I'm guessing bad coil or module. Like car cranks just no ignition. Need help!!!!!! and the engine was swapped last year!!!:( :talon: WTF need your help guys

Check if you're getting spark, if yes check fuel system, if no check your ecu, crank/cam angle sensors, coil packs(resistance) and transistor. let us know what you find!

^^^^pray and hope that it is the intake hose, it has happened to me befor. If it is the timing belt and you bent valves, you are going to be paying a good amount.

i don't think it timing belt becuase it was replaced last year..... so i dunno i hope it nothing serious will find out tmw...

If you guys ever experienced this let me know because i'm pretty sure it not my timing belt because that what was replaced when my engine was swapped last year. Btw there was a electrical problem before this happened too, it kept showing my emergency brake, battery and A/t temp icons kept showing and i don't know why because the car was running fine:confused:

great it was timing belt.... guess it wasn't done when it was swapped..luckly it just skipped a couple times and no valves were bent.... still gonna be a friggin $500 job though.... o well could of been worse. I truely hate sometimes how these engines and cars are made....makes me wanna sell my car sometimes. Like most cars don't even use timing belts, use cranks and chains. I rather have a chain then a little rubber belt.
