Florida/Cali,
i had my rear wheels off and figured i would change the brakes...well i changed one side and put it back together and now the damn drum cover wont go back on there...plus it is spitting out fluid from inside the drum...what the hell did i do wrong and how am i gonna fix it...also the E brake isnt even engaging...

1. your wheel cylinder is probably leaking, so either replace it or hone the cylinder and replace the seals/cups.
2. you probably forgot to tighten/loosen(which ever way it threads) the star wheel to its smallest setting so that way you can put the drum back on and from there continuously adjust the star wheel till it expands the shoes so the drum will fit snug.
3. If it feels like the E brake isnt engaging, maybe you forgot something. If you only did one side, check the other side on how the parking brake is routed/mounted.

drums won't go on cuz there are out of adjustment if you put them together right. which i am not sure you did cuz your asking us why they won't go on, and you don't know what is up with fluid leaking out maybe you better bring your car to a mechanic the brake fluid leaking is a no brainer. i think you better get someone who knows what they are doing cuz drum brakes are a ton more complex than disk. it almost impossible to screw up disk brakes. get some one who knows drum brakes to fix your problem. but then again its your life not mine well it could be mine if you hit me cuz you lost all your brake fluid or you can't stop in top cuz your brakes are way out of adjustment. when you adjust them they shouldn't spin freely next time let someone else do your brakes

mmmuuuaahhhh ha ha ha
