Help car is acting retarted wont boost and has miss

Hi i got a 97 gsx tuned on e85 and dsm link and was doing 418hp till one day it started running like shit out of the blue and it was missing and not boosting well then i took it to a perfromce shop and now 2 months later i get the car back the guy reset timming and did a few minor things and couldnt figer it out and gave it back and now when i even try to boost it its boggs down like crazy and slows the car down and spits and sputters till i left off the gas and drive it as if it was a n/t and it also miss's alot when it idels kinda till i gas it then it seems to clear up so u guys have any ideas what this could be? i did boot leak test nothing big a few itty bitty leaks but nothing to cause this and i also changed plugs! D you think it could maybe be the coil pack? cause im lost on this.

Hey idea that just popped into my head.I'm sure you are not using stock injectors with E-85 so check your injector global and deadtime settings in link and make sure the settings didnt somehow get set back to stock BTW dcmarf I'm just messing with him I'm not a grammer nazi.Just makes things easier to read.

yeah there 1600 injecters and i didnt do the tune on the car i dont know much about dsmlink. i paid someone to do it in oklahoma city to tune it for me. I will try and get a log an post it here. I had to redo tune from saved file with the bat when dead so u think all the settings would be right.

Bad ignition wires and/or coil pack can cause serious bogging and missing under load. Is it knocking when youre trying to accelerate?

yeah i was think that as well. i was going to try a differnt set of plug wires and coil pack.

and knocking like makeing a knocking sound? i dont hear anything but it is missing like if it was out of time or jumping spark and u can smell fuel as well.

Its easy to check the link settings.Open up link and click the fuel tab.Then tell us what your global and deadtime says.

check fuel purity

make sure t heres no goo/contamination in your fuel system. ethanol is hell on rubber.

also check plug gap and coil condition! ethanol can be hard to get lit off.

You have a boost leak. Do a boost leak test. My car did the same thing one of my couplers were torn in half.

This definitely sounds like a boost leak. Happened to my friends 98 GST and he had to do a boost leak test and figured out that a leak was the issue. Rough idle, little to no boost, engine has an akward sound....all common signs of boost leak
