Ok my car started acting kind of weird after i installed a MBC and a new alternator. The car didnt want to boost after 5000 RPMs. I hooked the OBD2 and i got these codes
- p0304 Cylinder 4 misfire
- p1103 Wastegate actuator malfunction.
and p1109 Cant find it.

So my wires where kind of old so i borrowed some new wires. In the process i took my fuel rail out and injectors to clean them. I put everything back together and turned the car on and now im in a deep hole because i don't know whats going on, Heres a video of what the car sounds like. Oh one more thing my boost gauge ust to read 20 vacuum but now its at 10

You said you cleaned your injectors? Did you happen to reuse the old seals?
Boost leak test.

can of wd40 and spray all your vacuum lines/ports while its running and see if you can hear a change in rpm

Ok so youre telling me to buy a can off wd40 and spray it on all my vacuum lines and seals and my idle is going to change? Is it suppose to bubble or something were i have a leak?

its your injector seals that go to the intake manifold..
Over time they turn from rubber to hard plastic. removing the injectors and not replacing or putting silicone around these seals will most defiantly have a leak.

So the injector seals make that big of a leak that it makes my car idle very unsteadily? Where cani get good seals and when i put new seals do i put silicon on the sides?

Is my t25 gone or they just suck?

Yeah, the T25 sucks, especially at higher RPMs.

Home Depot Racing. ;) ---> http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...9-1g-2g-cheaper-fuel-injector-insulators.html

Finally, do a boost leak test! You can either make your own with this or this guide, or you can buy your own here. If you need some help, I can come over and lend a hand. :)

Also, the cylinder misfire could be reaching higher RPMs and blowing out spark. Possibly time to change the plugs and gap them down a little if you've increased your boost level.

I think you should defiantly do a boost leak test and vacuum leak test before you ask any more questions. And when you say it wont boost past 5000RPMs, what exactly happens at those RPMs?

when i hit those high RPMS the car wants to stall and i have to shit to the next gear so it wont.

The t25 just stops flowing at those rpms, it shouldn't make the car run roughly or anything. That sounds like more than just the t25 being small, it should just lower the boost pressure to like 10-12psi. As far as your leaking problem, I know there was another thread around here where someone replaced injector seals and his problem was fixed. And another +1 for boost leak test.

A t25 will fall to about 8 lbs of boost in the upper rpms no matter what, if you are stock. If you have an exhaust, it will hold a little better. If you don't have an exhaust, but you have a fmic, then it will suck even more.

ok the turbo being small is fixabe. I have a 16g but to install it im going to need a j-pipe and bigger injectors. I aso have a smaller looking turbo which i dont know what it is
(td04hl). Should i just go bigger now or wait until im confortable with the car. I havent really drove the car on a daily basis because if you guys dont know i kind of saved this GST from being junked. Heres a short version of the story, i got the car from someone that was going to junk it because it crankwalked on him and he had it laying in the middle of a field for a year. I got a new engine of tigerjapanese paid someone to swap it but he ended up screwing me over he did a awful job. The engine i got came of an automatic car so there was extra work to do. And now im just doing everything on my own, im trying to finish the car. Its just me a 18 year old high school student and my dad and you guys.

Patience is a virtue. Wait on the 16G install. Make sure the car is running perfectly, with all the maintenance done. If you've got problems now, wait till you start bitching about knock and timing and tons of other stuff. Learn all about injectors and timing and tuning before just throwing larger injectors on with a bigger turbo.

Baby steps. You'll thank me later.

Yea thanks. Im going to buy seals for the injectors and all the necessary things to install them properly. Run a boost leak test which i have no idea on how to do but ill learn.Im then going to get new spark plugs and wires. Im then going to get a 1g BOV to recirculate it because my Apexi cant be recirculated. If the car doesnt get better im going to take it to a shop but i dont know where to go.

It wont be hard to find a step by step on how to do a boost leak test, go to vfaq.com.

EDIT: I see on the other thread that you fixed a boost leak but you want to go with a MAFT setup and an AFC. My thoughts on all this: Buy a Hallman PRO RX mbc, its perfect. Go buy a good recirculated BOV (you could just get the crushed 1G BOV like you said). Get DSM Link, I made the mistake of buying an AFC Neo and I am selling it BRAND NEW in order to buy DSM Link. I have to say you've done a REALLY good job on the car so far and it looks WAY better now, A++++++++++

You know how to contact me. ;)

Recirculating the compressor bypass valve (aka BOV) will definitely make the car run much smoother. Come on to the New England DSM forums and post up a "Want to Buy" ad in the Classifieds Section. Most of us have more than one. Get rid of that other POS fast.

If the car doesnt get better im going to take it to a shop but i dont know where to go.

No need to spend money on a shop. I sent you a couple trusted shops in the MA area, but you should try and save your money and spend it more wisely. Just find one of us local DSMers to help you out. Most of us are more than willing to assist whenever you need it. :)

You can get them at your local parts store, its kinda rare that they stock em.

You dont need to put silicone around the new one, you can put them around the old ones to ensure no leak, but your best bet is to replace them.
