Help Building Racecar

Giday all,

Im building a racecar to oval track race, built other cars before. Looking for some help on building this car tho. Its a 93 Talon 2L n/a. Rule state the car must be "stock" but the officials let lots of stuff go. Looking to make it handle better and get out of the corners better.
If anyone can give me some help it would be much appreciated.

We need to know what class and sanctioning body your running in. "stock" means a lot of different things....

How serious are you about winning? Do you have a budget in mind?

Because of the 750$ claim rule, you dont want to put a huge amount of money into the car. The winning cars are running around 17 second 1/3mile laps

I would probably get an AFC or something to that effect and some Q16 and a set of turbo injectors. Tune the shit out of it and hope you can drive.

This year is more of a get the car on the track and be competative. Next winter is the time to build the car

Then prep it to bare specs and get some seat time to feel out what direction you need to go with it. Not easy setting up a car online.
