Aite, just got done doing a head gasket, everything is back together, BUTTTTTT, I am not getting any fuel to my engine. Wally 255 Is on and working fine, I even bypassed it straight to the battery, nothing, no fuel. I have the fuel rail half disconnected and no fuel is coming to the rail. Any Ideas? There is a quater of a tank in the car.

fuse maybe? can you hear the pump prime itself when you turn the key to on?

how long has the car been down and out of comission? usually if the car isnt getting fuel its because of a fuse ( since you bypassed it with the battery thats not the problem ) OR its a ecu issue,, has the car been sitting for a year or so? look at the capacitors if you have the slight thought it might be your ecu

The car was running last week, It has not been down nor out of commission. Just needed a new head gasket.

hmmm ok that rules out my down time theory,,,

whens the last time you changed the fuel filter? doubt fuel sitting for a week could clog it but if it was old to start with then its a possibility,,, with a 1/4 of a tank maybe some crud got in fuel lines off the bottom of the tank -- again its a stretch but besides maybe checking all your connections and plugs to your injectos -- im out of ideas

Ya, I will replace the fuel filter, I'm also just gonna put some more gas in just because. Again, I have the rail half disconnected, so it's not like its the injectors.

Did you unplug the pump (to relieve pressure in the system) when disconnecting the injector rail? Did you plug it back in? Not to insult you, just could be easily overlooked...

Ok all, I am a complete idiot. I guess in my haste of things I was seeing shit. So, I got to thinking like "damn, my car has only been down for a couple of days, I really don't think there is anything wrong with my fuel." So I looked at the rail again and realized that I didn't pull out the connection far enough to even see if fuel was coming out. Sure enough when I did that, disconnected the rail totally, fuel everywhere. Aite, so If I got fuel for sure, I gotta be slackin somewhere else, checked the spark again and sure enough no spark. So I started to retrace my steps and boom, one crushed pin on what I think to be the CPS. Of course I fixed that and It's ALIVE.

Good for me, but, now I got this HIDEOUS lifter tick thats scaring the crap out of me. ITS LOUD, but it only sounds like one lifter that is the really loud. Jeez La WEEZ, I hope I didn't get any dirt in there.

Thanks for all the help guys.

The lifter tick should get better over the next few day as the lifters work out any air bubbles that where caught when doing the Head Gasket.

Another possibility that could be the cause, and this one sucks because you just had the head off -- is that if you had the cyl. head resurfaced -- as you should have done -- resurfacing may decreases the main oil feed passage that feeds the Cyl. Head causing the famous 'DSM Lifter Tick'. You can find info on this topic in these forums so you can look it up and make your own conclusions, but I'll be addressing the issue the next time I have my Cyl Head off for sure!

--- FYI, the issue I speak of is the oil passage on the cly head where it meets the engine block. This passage is also --strange enough-- one of the cyl. head stud holes, but it is, this passage has a flat spot that gets machined flatter when the head gets resurfaced and this causes decreased oil flow to the head especially if you've resurfaced more than once. Look it up!

P.S. I think you can see the area I'm talking about in my avatar pic.... that's funny...
Good luck.

Ya, I know exactly what you are talking about, I should have had it done. O well.
