I have a 93' Eclipse 1.8 liter non-turbo completely stock. I'm trying to replace the stock air filter with a Short Ram Air Intake- here's my problem. The MAS/MAF (air sensor) is huge and sits inside the stock air filter which hooks up to the rubber tube. All of the Air Intake kits I have found appear to house a small Air sensor and don't work with my old, gigantic stock MAF sensor. I'm trying to go cheap on the intake kit (under $50) and this is what I found-

It SAYS it will work on my year model Eclipse, but it doesn't appear to house my MAF.

Also, might it work if I took out the stock MAF and hooked this up instead?-

Thank you SO MUCH to anybody that can provide me with even a little bit of a solution!

I figure if I can get myself to around 130 hp it'll be as quick as I need it to be. I'm not taking it to the track or something...

Yea that ebay intake is for the 2.0....looks like I have to buy a K&N filter and put the MAS into that......
