Help!! 94 eclipse no start

So i just bought a 1994 eclipse 1.8l sohc the guy that i got it from said it just needed a disrtibutor so i got the distributor put it in tryed to stat nothing checked for spark and im getting spark so i then thought the timing could be off so i re did all the timing alligned all marks tryed to start again nothing checked for fuel and i am getting fuel as well i have no idea were to go from here any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Have you checked to see if the injectors are pulsing?

Spark compression and fuel check all those it could be anything try that first.

Exactly. ^ Buy a compression tester, or do a loan from autozone.

check the starter? i had a similar prob with mine and all i did was replaced the starter and it started right up

If it's turning over chances are it's not the starter, fuel, spark, and compression is all you need to start it. I hope for your sake you didn't get screwed on this car

trying pulling the ecu and seeing if there is any evidence it might be bad. check compression. and go from there.

If it is getting fuel a spark it's probably not the ecu, right?

I was having similar issues a couple days ago, it turned out that my #1 and 4 spark plugs were shot.

I had spark,compression, and fuel up to the fuel rail but the injectors weren't opening. It ended up being my ecu was junk
