Look at any real expenisve sports car... take the AMG C63 for example or almost any other Merc...

Look at the tire picture, you will see that the tire is "stretched" over the rim, and that its separated a bit.
Now if Merc is doing this to one of their fastest cars i highly doubt its bad. My mother used to sell them, i have gotten to drive my fair share of Benz's and let me tell you a BIG majority of all the nicer top line cars have a "stretched" tire look on the rims

Or maybe I can drive the shit out of that car tap the ass end at a drift event pop the dent out spray paint over it and leave. Or tomorrow it could be baby blue. Sorry Im only 18 have had a dsm with $7000 in to it. Had a VW had now 2 240's and love them. Ya it's not the best looking but ya know what, I can drive the shit out of it and still look moderately ok and not break the bank at the end of the day. I thought that's what it's all about? I guess now so for you sir you get a thumb's down
. Not to mention having those stretched out tires will damage a rim quicker with every hard bump you hit. It's the same concept as low profile tires but worse. At least a low pro still has a usable sidewall to absorb the impact but when you stretch out the tire you loose absorption in the tire.
