i have a 93 gsx. car was running perfectly fine, everything working perfectly. all in one shot i put in a pte 60 trim and a few other parts. when i fired her up. she began to heat up once i gunned it. so i thought oh well i changed the radiator cap and took out the thermostat and still it over heated. so i put in a fluidyne radiator and spal fan that would continously be on whenever youd turn over the key. and yet it still heats up. if you drive normal it wont heat up intil a while although if you gun it. it'll probably heat up within 2 miles. what could it be? i was thinking possibly the water pump because there doesnt seem to be anything else that i might of forgotten although the water pump was fine before i ever installed the parts into my car. help guys im hoping theres something else i can do to fix this problem rather than having to do a whole new timing job because of the water pump. thanks. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. :thumb:

it starts boiling over and coolant starts dripping onto the street. i dont have any hose rips although what else could it possibly be. i have a new cap no thermostat, new fluidyne radiator and spal fan.

Not sure if that turbo is water or oil cooled, or a combo (like the stockers), but if it uses a water line, you might want to check that. Make sure it's not blocked. If it's only oil-cooled, check how you capped off the old water feed lines. If you blocked those, well, the coolant isn't going to circulate too well with a blob of JB Weld in the way, or a bigass bolt.

If that isn't it, and the water pump is fine, you might consider going to a cooler thermo, though that'd just be a band-aid.

my turbo's oil cooled and i have both stock water lines going up to where the turbo's water lines would reconnect with the connections next to the radiator cap. so it recirculates just fine without any water coming out through there. how can i check to see if my water pump is working? im going to have a mechanic look it over on monday because it seems like way to much trouble to sove this problem.

i should also tell you that i dont have any smoke coming out of my exhaust either, so i wouldnt think its a blown headgasket.

LOL...

It sounded like you just described my situation to the "T" SCM 60 and All!!

We both need Help!!
