Now, this might sound a bit dumb, but recently, about 1400 miles ago the motor was rebuilt, ive noticed for the last 300 miles or so the car starts to heat up, uphill or otherwise at about 4000rpm steady. I have to slap on the ehater to avoid the temp. Last time I noticed the needle at 3/4 the way up, I opened the hood and only saw 1 fan running, isnt the second fan supposed to come on when it starts heating up? I think this might be my problem, but I might be incorrect, im not leaking coolant anywhere, its filled up appropriately, which leads me to believe the second fan just isnt turning on, I just wanted confirmation, or other ideas? thanks again!

at idle or while out of gear, the temp drops down, and if heater is on i can drive long distances, which leads me to believe maybe a failing waterpump? any ideas?

2nd fan is AC fan... only goes on if u have AC on...

get coolant flushed and top off with water wetter from redline... dropped my subie temps about 10 degrees at least...

although random overheating uphill... I'd say ur waterpump is taking a dump on oyu and iw ould get it fixed asap
