hello all, well it appears i am having a problem with the heater core on my 92 gsx. all my coolant is going in the driver's seat area. i have another heater core but i am wondering if i need to have the heater core at all??? could i possibly just block it off or would it be better to just replace it. :hmm:

As long as you don't plan on using the heat in your car there is no need for the heater core. You can just loop the lines that go to it together to bypass it.

hey thanx ... i thought you could something like that ( a buddy of mine does that to all his dsms, claims that the heater hoses raises intake temps and negates the intercooler ... i dunno, but he is an ase "master" technician", while i am only a lube tech at nissan ...) i will probably replace the heater core later on but right now i just don't have the time
