2G Headlight wiring (Halo's)

I did some searching and found that it's best to wire your halos to your side markers. My question is, the halos have a red and black wire while the side markers have a green and black wire. Is it red to green, black to black?

thats how i would go.

I think it is black to black red to green if you have a power probe you can check which wire has power if it is green then go that way.I know on my first gen i had that with those lighted wiper nozzles and I went red to green too and they worked.
