Ok well i think the headgasket is toast!

Night started off awesome as we were tuning the car for e-85 and more boost, after that was finished i decided to do a quick pull on the way home rolled into 3rd from a 50mph roll car pulled great no knock no nothing......I felt a slight vibration @ around 7k as soon as i pushed the clutch in the car died i figured i had blown off the i/c piping again but apperently i was wrong.......

Popped the hood to check it out and everything was fine no sensors came loose and i/c piping was all intact i tried to fire the car up but no start just kept cranking.....But this time there was water all over the place under the car mainly coming from the front (rad) although i couldnt see where it was exactly comming from.......

After about 10-15mins of looking for a reason why the car wouldnt start i decided to try and crank it over again, this time it started but white smoke came from the exhaust and cleared up after about 5sec......I proceded to drive it home (1mile) the car didnt even reach 230f meanwhile it was studdering and misfiring as well, although i havent dug into it more since it's 7am now.....

Trying to figure out if it's a bad headgasket or a combo of blown rad and maybe bad coil (fingers crossed) im more or less trying to figure out if these are symptoms of a bad headgasket any input would be great!

Thanks!

It didn't show it was overheating because all the water was gone and the sensor was reading nothing but warm air...but it was probably seriously over-heated. The studdering and misfiring was most likely due to coolant in one or more cylinders.

Definitely sounds like a HG. Do a leak-down test on it and you should know for sure.

Damn well that blows looks like ill be ordering ARP/MLS stuff soon then!

Thanks again!

Just so you know, the OEM composite has held up to 40psi with the appropriate AR0 studs.

Well since im going to be adding more mods i might look into a built head in the classifieds or local.....I would rather have a fresh head ready to bolt on instead of waiting for mine to get worked over......

Nope i have not done that yet but the oil is milky as can be im not to worried this all just part of the game.....

You do realize you'll want to get the block and associated oil met components/parts fully washed to remove the emulsified liquid.

Well the only good thing is most of the water was already on the floor so the oil itself wasnt that bad at all actually.....

Im getting it towed home tonight after work and should start tearing it down this week ill let everybody know on how bad it is!
