Hello everyone,

I had made a post back around the beginning of May with a misfire issue I had. Turns out my exhaust manifold is leaking before the O2 sensor causing it to throw off the reading. Additionally, the hissing/soft whistling type of noise got worse when the car was at normal operating temperature which gave away the exhaust having a problem. I was planning on swapping it out with headers in the future but I now have the excuse to buy some. Any recommendations I should take a look at as some of the ones that were good are now discontinued or overpriced to the max.

Thanks

I agree with Steve - not much has changed. You can still buy what you need, but the best options are gone and you're getting a cookie cutter item most likely produced in China. Regardless, if the part solves your problem then go for it. I'd just recommend some fiberglass insulating wrap to keep the heat down in the bay. Also glad that the exhaust leak was your problem. That's an easy fix comparative to some other issues, and also what I figured the problem was. Once it's fixed without a doubt, you should update your other thread and we will mark that as the solution so others can know what to look for and not stay curious! :)

Those are the same as you'd get from Ebay. I have nothing against them, besides the absurd claim of gaining up to 20hp :ohdamn:
I just saw that LOL, interesting description to say the least. I appreciate your help I will probably browse around eBay and see what I can find
