Head Won't Come Off! Help!

Okay I have a 4G63 out of a 2G Eclipse that I am tearing down. I have the valve cover off, the intake manifold is off and I can't get one single bolt loose inside the head to get it off the block. What exact size is this bolt? I got the 12 point sockets thinking that they would help but every single size I try just keeps sliding. I'm kinda new to engine rebuilding so if I'm making some bonehead error please let me know!

okay well its a 12mm 12 point socket and you have to loosen them all up and make sure that they are loose because i went through this just like you bud but i learned quick that you have to pick the bolt up and pull it out as it is up

Wait, wait...You got the intake manifold off, and can't get the head off? Lol wow, IMO it's harder to take the damn manifold off. You need like go-go gadget arms to get that thing off when it's in the car...Good job
As for the head, they are 12mm/12pt. But if your socket isn't fitting on it correctly, try an 11mm or something, maybe the studs were replaced before with different ones

Hahaha, I'm not that good. The engine is laying on my garage floor. I picked it up for $100 hoping to pop it into my Esi. After I got it home I decided to look on here to find out if anyone had swapped a 420A to a 4G63 only to chuckle when I found out how hard (impossible) it was to do.
