hey guys ive been looking around for a new head unit for my 240 ive found these two which do u think is better and if not please recommend another one

I love Pioneer, I have had many other brands of head units and Pioneer has always been my favorite. I have a 6500 series now.

go for the DXZ835MP

im totally anti-pioneer... ive owned 3 pioneers and all installed in my talon and all three have broken on me.... all 3 blew their internal amplifiers.. ill never buy that junk again... i'd suggest alpine, kenwood, or clarion. im buying an alpine 9813. Take a look at that model too, it seems to be in your price range and it has gotten nothing but good reviews on it.
