Hello. I have a 96 eclipse gsx. When I bought it it had no head unit, so now I am trying to install one I had left over. It is a JVC KD-HDR20. it has one blue/white wire. I tied the power antenna and amp turn on lead (I am using the stock amp and have the conversion harness) into this blue wire out of the head unit. When I first powered it up to test it, I got nothing. The antenna didnt go up and I had no sound. Just tinkering with it, I found that if I removed the amp turn on lead, the antenna would go up. when I tied it back in, it went down. Wiring is not my thing and I am very confused because it seems to be backwards from what it should. Any help? Thank you

Both the antenna and amp do not go to this 1 wire. On JVC models the SOLD BLUE wire is for the POWER ANTENNA. The BLUE/WHITE wire is for the AMP REMOTE.

No problem, I do sound systems for a living basically. It's quite boring haha

Well it's not technically for a living LOL. I install subs, amps, speakers, headunits, back up cameras, dvd players everything for friends just about every other day, free of charge.

I have all of this stuff written in my notebook. Along with the shortest route to run wires for amps/ subs/RCAs. I got all this junk LOL. When ever I do a car I just write it down incase I have to do it again

I use it because I have done at least 4 Accords all the same year and it got annoying so I did it with every car I have done. Just incase one pops up along the road
