will the 2.4l head from spyder/galant bolt directly onto 1.8l block?

No, The blocks are different, your 1.8L is a 4g37 where the 2.4L is a 4g64. This alone means nothing, but if you do some research, the 4g3 motors are "Mitsubishi Saturn" engines, where the 4g6 are "Mitsubishi Sirius" engines.

Its kind of like slapping gen 1 small block Chevy head on a LS1 block... doesn't work.
