I was gonna Keep it Simple. It's not gonna be a Crazy Setup. And From reading and talking I'm thinking If i keep it fairly Stock I shouldn't really have issues.

For my Head I was gonna do this.

Bronze Valve Guides from Slowboy.
Mitsu Valves (OEM)
Slowboy Revised Lifters
Manley Springs and Retainers
Topline Rockers

A little Shy of 900 for everything...

Just wondering who had opinions on parts and if one thing would be better to run than others.

The new year is going to bring serious progress on my Motor...So expect alot of tech questions.

I didn't see anything that alarmed me.
Now is the time to get the fundamentals down and do your research before buying a lot of parts. Check out some others cars that they modified the way you want yours.

That way you can base your success on the successes of others.

Good Luck

How far can a stock head go with a Semi aggresive street setup??? ###### talking 300 AWHP.....give or take

And is it possible to use stock internals if i'm running a 264/272 cam setup?

For 300hp, I don't see anything there that's needed. Valves if yours are burned or stem-worn enough to be beyond regrinding, guides if yours are beat to death (which they're not liable to be). Nothing against Slowboy's stuff, but stock is more than adequate. It's just $900 I'd go another direction with.

So a Stock rebuild is more than enough.

Fp2 cams I hear can use stock springs and retainers and stilll function safely?

How much are OEM head parts gonna run me?

Basically I knew i coudl go stock rebuild I was just gonna give ti a little more extra more than needed stuff Just in case. But if it saves me money and is still good enough to function...I'll keep it simple and cost effective.
