I am rebuilding my head due to my awesome balance shaft belt breaking on me. My question is do i have to buy the mitsu specialty tool remove the factory head bolts or is there another way to take them out?

You just need a 12mm 12 point socket. Any auto parts store should have it. Remember they need to be replaced though.
