Hey everyone i was planning on doing a HD lip. My question is that by looking at my bumper i have some scuff marks from the previous owner that you can see the yellow under the paint, depending on the angle your looking from LOL well i was hoping an hd lip would cover some of that (hopefully it all) and just dress it up a bit. Do you guys who have done them think judging by the pic that it will cover it up or is it to high up?

It Really Depends where you Drill your holes really but I think it will help forsure.. Do it :thumb:

I don't have a HD lip, but I was seriously considering putting one on. If I had to guess, I would say yeah the HD lip would cover up the bottom. I plan on using double sided 3M tape and just make sure it covers the entire underside of the front bumper where the yellow shows.

Oh, and post up picks when you're done so I can see how it looks on Barcelona Red Pearl :thumb:

I have made about 3 now and I don't think it will cover the top half of the yellow...It will help however and looks damn good. If you are lowered though be careful as it tends to rip easily

HD lip? Is this the garage door gasket stuff? Anybody got a pic?

Here it is on my last car

To the OP, I don't know if the first picture is close enough but you can see around where it comes up to, which from what I can tell would almost cover the yellow but not quite

I know its old but I highly recommend trying to find some black double sided paint. As it gets older, the white starts getting exposed and looks like ass. Tape is all you need, no need to screw into the bumper.

Never knew this got replied to, but this is correct. If I ever do it again I will try to find black double sided tape (you can also color the side of it too and make it look black)

If u guys can't find any black double-sided tape let me know, my factory makes tape
