I dunno what you guys are talking about. I had my HD lip on my 1g with ONLY tape for WELL over 3 years and it never came off on it's own. Though, I will say that you have to be very careful to keep the tape hidden.

If you are going to use the tape at least get some black double sided.

I had to purchase it on ebay because HD has no delivery service for this item. I am from Europe, so it would be hard to get to a Homedepot store in person

Looks good have thought about this for awhile but my car right now is about 3 inches from the ground so might just use alot of self tappers and raise my coilovers a bit
