420A Haynes Repair Manual

Purchased a Haynes Repair Manual. I however have some really dumb questions. I have a Turbo 420a motor. I was wondering on what I should read and follow in the book and what I should I ignore. I am also assuming Chapter 2 Pat B is for the 4g63. Is that correct?

Since you have a turbo 420a you should still refer to Chapter 2 part A for basic engine repair and specs. That being said if you have changed out parts they may have slightly different specs, but the Haynes manual will help a lot. I also wholeheartedly believe that the tech section is a godsend on this site, it has answered more questions than I could ask.

^^exactly a 420a doesn't turn into a 4g63 if you put a turbo on it, so the 4g63 part will still be irrelevant to you, but you will have different specs in some areas for sure.
