I have a 96 talon tsi and i blew the turbo. i have a small 16g to install along with a 3" downpipe, 3" catback, pacesetter header, and a 2g installation kit with j pipe. i need to know
if i need to get a ported o2 housing or what. also can someone explain to me about o2 dump tubes and the benefit that would have to my set up. Thanks.
also i need to know about fuel mods such as larger injectors and a high flow fuel pump, would they be required for my set up.

yo man you don't have to port your 02 housing, it's not required or anything, but it's definitly worth the time. ALso, you can just get a custom made one for cheap or buy an aftermarket, they really aren't that much. Also, your best bet is a 255 pump with 550's if you want to make sure you don't hit fuel cut. SOme peoples cars don't hit it but others, like mine, can hit it with just a little too much air. ALso, an afc is helpful but not NEEDED. Good luck, let me know if you have any other questions.....

If he is going to get bigger Injectors (I would suggest 650's) then he would have to get an S-AFC.

Also I would suggest selling the Pacesetter manifold and just port your stock one, it will save you some money and alot of hassel when the Pacesetter fails shortly down the road.

And for an o2 dump, this dumps the wastegate directly to the Atomosphere which is quite loud and illegal for emissions and such, you shouldn't need that for your setup. You stock o2 housing will work just fine and as stated before you could port it out for a nice, cheap gain.

Yes you will need a afc for 550s and you will need a afpr for the 255, sure it run but like crap. As for the o2 dump, most does it for the sound although some would pretend it's for boost creep reasons. Speaking of boost creep, do some search on it and see if you feel comfortable porting the turbine/o2 hosing while everything is out. I have a feeling you will have to deal with it soon.
