Hatch problem

My hatch doesn't pop up and I know many live with it but I can't. Where can I find a new spring? I Googled and searched but I couldn't find anymore than people who had the problem. Couldn't find a spring to replace it.

Also, I can't use the key to open the hatch. I put in the key and it won't budge.

I will have to do that within the next couple weeks. I have a lot of work I am doing to it now I will watch some youtube videos first too.

I never even checked for Youtube videos. Surprisingly, I didn't think of that. I was a little concerned about taking it apart at first but once I started digging in and learning about how the lock works, I was pretty relieved because it all began to make sense. I learn best when doing things.
