Hand brake not functioning

Hi guys im new here in dsm i have a plymouth laser model 1990, i have a problme about the handbrake,its not functioning seens i decide to chrome plating all the califer,is there any suggestion.

First of all, Wtf did you just say, second, how long have you had the car? did it just start not working or has it never worked?

^ beat me to it. My understanding is that he just bought a 1990 car and his first mod was to chrome plate the calipers and now the handbrake doesnt work. Is that right?...

I feel like sense you did chrome plating on the calipers you may have not reinstalled them correctly. Go over everything one more time, maybe post some pics of the rear calipers? And if its all hooked up right pull apart your center console and check that everything is working right up there. Let us know what you find out

I would check the parking brake cable, make sure all is well there. Also check your rear calipers, have someone pull the parking brake while you have the wheels off, make sure the cable spins the caliper piston out and engages the parking brake since our rear disc parking brakes are integrated with the caliper and not drum style.
