half throttle vs wot

ok when i gas it half way it pulls hard and pretty quick, but when i wot it doesnt pull as hard...do u think maybe not enough fuel? or too much fuel?

I'm having the same problem on my 1st gen TSI, will someone please give some imput, this drives me nuts !

Mine did this and I have two reasons as to why.

1) I was running very, very rich. I fixed that.

2) After fixing that my clutch started slipping.

Anyway, that was what was wrong with MY car.

if it matters I have a 5 speed Tsi AWD, hacked air car, tt, K&N filter. and that's all for mods, but I can tell that my car is running rich, when I accelerate aggressivly, all I can smell is fuel.. What can 95gst612 and I do to fix this ?

Are you sure you're just not leaking fuel somewhere? I'm not sure about the 1G but on the 2G if you hack the MAS, you will be running rich unless you have an AFC to control it. The 1G, however, might be different. If you don't know for sure then invest in a AFC, or a AF gauge (I don't have one so I don't know how accurate they are), maybe even a Pocketlogger.

Oh yeah 95gst612 are you venting your BOV? If you have the TurboXS RFL, then your proabably are and that will cause you to run rich because you are losing metered air into the atmosphere instead of directing it back into you intake.

yea i am venting to the air. so is therea nything i can do besides getting a 1g bov?

Well I believe you can control that with an AFC (I'm not sure exactly how because I don't have one but I've heard that this would remedy it), but if I were you I would just get a new BOV. I think the Turbo XS H34 recirculates.
