I need help!!! Is it ok to put a half size radiator on my 97 gst. I have a t4 turbonetics turbo and the compresor is too big and stock radiator dont fit. Wat do u guys recommend me?

I use a half rad no problem. This is a drag car only bit I run when it's hot only way to know for sure is to try it. Too many variables to tell for sure. What's your climate? What's the car used for? Are you running ac? Stop and go traffic or interstate? What fans? What degree t stat? What's the hottest day u will drive it? It all depends.

Ok well basically im not going to be driving my gst alot and the climate over here in cali varies the hotest ill maybe drive it is like below 100

If it's not your DD, then I think you should be fine with a half radiator. I hate to use this as a comparison, but Honda guys turbo their cars and they come with half radiators stock and they continue to use the stock radiator. I'd venture to say if you buy a quality half radiator from Koyo or Mishimoto, maybe switch to a lower temp thermostat, run some Water Wetter, and possibly install an oil cooler you should be set.

Yeah ill peobably be using it once in a while to go here and there thats it but thank you though really appreciate it :)

Make sure to blow off the side that doesn't have the radiator if you run a half rad. You want air going through the rad and not the big open hole. Air will flow the path of least resistance.
Some people have started running the Mk3 Golf/GTI radiator as it fits under the rad support so you can tuck it in a bit more.

My set-up is a GSP 3 row with cheap pusher fan and no shrouding, works surprisingly good. It would be much better though with a puller fan and shrouding.
