Pics will be up when I do paint the roof and hood.

HAHAHHAH that is so funny. Those tail lights make cars look like spaceships.ROFLROFLROFL

"Beam me up Scotty"!ROFLROFL Jk, that might get me another warning!OMG

WTF:confused: LOL Lets hope not man! On a serious note, I love the look of your car with the black top and hood. It looks MEAN!!! Let me know when you are going to paint. I'll help if i am not working.:rocks::rocks:

Maybe this weekend! Hell yea J.T might come over too and you know Roy will be there! Might get some beers if you and J.T arent working Ill let you know.

Got to choose between the two Roof a definate, hood its a debate because is it too much black for the split color of the front bumber? I love both looks.

Dude, what the hell is up with your hood? The thing looks like it's un-hinged. Also, you posted your car up so people can make honest opinions but you seem to be offended by most of the opinions (I guess the negatives ones in your case) and then trying to attack everybody else's ride. What's the point really?

yeah your hood like that looks like crap. Did you read around the forums about that mod? Anyway the paint job looks great and the black hood looks good too. But I'd really check up on the elevated hood threads.

Did you read the whole thread before you posetd? The hood thing has been discused already.
When did I get offended by a comment? IF youre talking about "EDM95's" comment about my wiper blades how did I sound offended:confused: Hell I dont even like those blades!!

As far as my response to "EDM95" WTF I can't give a opinion without it being a attack. I take constructive criticisim well.

Besides This post is'nt titled "What do you think of my raised hood". The hood is not for LOOKS!!

Haha, so the purpose is to force hot air out the engine bay. Lmao... I see plenty of 9 sec cars with their hood on as normal as any other dsms out there. Honestly, it looks ridiculous if you ask me; but I guess I should take that back since you weren't asking for opinions right? LOL:|:toobad:

No, No, you can have your opinion this is America. But your opinion sugests every car should be the same and function the same.:boring:
Plus your opinions have nothing to do with the topic.

Not sure which "hood thing" you're referring to... The vents are OK, but the elevated area near the wiper cowl is not functioning like you think it is. Pressure travels from high to low, and it's definitely higher on the outside of the hood; I can definitely tell you where that underhood heat isn't going....

I don't mean to get off-topic with this, but I just want to make sure you're properly informed.

Also, your links on page 1 of this thread are all broken.

Correct me about the raised hood please. I like explainable opinions/facts instead of "it looks like crap" with nothing productiv to back it up.:thumb:.

School me on the hood and I will be glad to change it if what I did is proved wrong. I actually got the idea from a dsmer who road races. If the info he gave me is
wrong then I undo it. For my own good not for those who had no back up for thiere opinions on it.

That gap will create a vacuum area, and actually pull outside air into the engine bay because your bay is a low pressure area, and the air above the hood is high pressure. That will create turbulence, and create more stale, hot air under the hood. You can even tape little strings of yarn near the edge of the hood to see which way they will be pulling.

Do a little searching around here on the subject. There are threads that elaborate more on this.

I have to agree with 99GST racer, it works just like a Cowl hood ( think Chevelle or Camaro) it will pull air in, not remove heat.

the attached images in the op post arent valid. Does someone have the link to them?
