two tone paint

hey guys id like to know if theres any two tone eclipses out there? and not in the ricey way, but a little classy. im about to repaint my gst spyder in about a month and its originally a black car, it will have a black top as well. i want to keep the top half black because i dont want to redo the engine bay and trunk etc. the interior is the black/tan combo.

now i know the eclipse wont have the same lines but i have an idea of how i can pull it off and still look nice. another reason is about 6 weeks after i got my impala done a nieghbour 4 houses down got his cobalt done like mine, which ticked me off. i know i didnt want a stock paint job before now i want it two tone more then ever, ill have two two tone cars, .

my colours of choice is black up top and im leaning towards a red for the bottom, red still matching the black/tan interior. i have thought of the 350z blue but i dont think the tan would suit the blue bottom.

any ideas, opinions?

so far i have the blackest black i can find up top with a metallic or pearl red bottom separated with a silver pinstripe.

I'm thinking of doing something similar with my 95 GS. It's originally the dark green, so I'm going to keep the car that color but paint the roof black (I think the paint is called Absence). I think it should look okay with the carbon hood.

The silver pinstripe should be a nice touch. As long as you don't do any crazy lines, it shouldn't look rice at all.

BTW, I like the Impala.

I think it would look pretty good! I was also considering doing something simalar to my Laser. I was considering the retro look of the 80ish camaros, where the top half was a semi gloss black, bottom half color of your choice. Impala looks good!! Follow a similar line as your Impala, just below your rear view mirrors on the DSM!!
