GVR4 guys........ need some help identifying this wire!!!!

I did a 4G63T swap into my GGSX along with a complete GVR4 engine harness. There is a additional wire in the bundle that goes to the thermostat housing. Can you tell me what this is for???? Below is a pic.

It's not the A/C coolant temp switch, that here.....

its a ground or sum shit, i think it goes somewhere near or on the temp housing.

And for referance, this is a T/E/L lower thermostat housing with a Galant upper neck. Not that it should make a load of difference, but the neck has one sensor, the lower has three. There are no other sensors to hook a wire to.

It's hard to explain so I took a picture. You can see my finger resting on the connector you're talking about in the pic. It attaches to a sensor on the backside of the thermostat housing, almost directly opposite of the connector that looks just like it.

Sweet. Thanks for the help!! Looks as though if I want to hook it up correctly, I should get a GVR4 lower thermostat housing.

BTW, are there service manuals for the GVR4 line like there is for T/E/L Dsms?? I need to get one.
