22 seconds into the movie there is a high pitch ring noise and 35 seconds, once again. i think its the radiator fans.

40 seconds into the movie is when it starts, and let me tell you its violent! then 50 seconds it gets WORSE

to start from the beginning its fine when cold it will accellerate past 4K easy and pull nice
but after 5mins of driving when it warms up it does it... its knocks and vibrates at the gas peddle and WILL NOT accelerate past 4k RPMS.. so why does it drive super awesome when cold and like shit when HOT? could my engine be running abnormally HOT? when i look at my oil there are black streaks, and it is runny.. and after just driving for 10 mins the engine is super hot but the guage never overheats. ill leave and come back hours later and the manifold and valve cover are still decently hot.. not HOT but very warm...

more details for the people who care to read, and i again appreciate the people taking the time to watch the video and read this!
yesterday i drove 15miles to my sisters and noticed white coolant smoke wheni parked. turns out i left my radiator cap off... so i lost some coolant.. well i tightend it and drove 5 to 10 miles down the road on the highway.. as i got close to my exit my temp started to climb. it never reached HOT or peak it got 3/4's of the way and went down just as i got off the exit.. so it climbed for a total less than a minute.. could this have done damage? i drove a bit more that day and the guage never went past the normal half way mark. but basically this vibration and ticking happend after this.

stuff ive done in the past two weeks:

timing belt
oil pump
new turbo
downpipe

i used the old timing belt tensionor. it seemed fine as it wasnt leaking any oil and was hard to compress. all my points lined up perfect but did not use a timing light. again it drove awesome untill yesterday.

1)my belt could have jumped, yea but how, and if my timing is off from it jumping then why would it drive awesome when cold but like shit after warm up?

2)it is HOT.. this is my first DSM, first turbo car as well.. so i dont know if they are suppossed to run this HOT or not

3)My plugs have white carbon on the prongs, running lean? could i be experiencing pre-ignition or detonation due to high temps? remember the guage doesnt go past half way cept that one time and that was less than a minute.

sounds like you droped some valves

thanks again for your help! :)

anyone have any other experiences?

i didnt align my oil pump gears could that be the cause? it didnt do this after the oil pump, just started.. its been a few days.. i could have gotten lucky and had them lined up.. pluss i dont think they would cause this massive ticking... my balance shafts i mean

could you be any more rude? no one is going to help when you are being rude..
1st you said you didnt "align your oil pump gears" I assume you didnt align the oil pump when doing a timing belt install? now that is unreal...

If you dont have balance shafts then the oil pump does not need to be "timed" with the timing belt.

that counts as a bump, which is not allowd on this site.

If your car sounds as bad in person as it sounded on my speakers, you might as well rip the head off and check for your self what is broken. Sounds like your engine's got some problems
