So i got a 3" Megan downpipe and Thermal R&D catback and I left for a camp and when i came back it was on. First i was excited then later I found out to save money my dad had them weld the STOCK (OEM) CAT ON... So im pretty f****** pissed and im trying to figure out what to do, because i can HEAR how much its restricting it... and its not like they can just cut it off now. So im a little bit worried. Should i just gut it out and slap it back on?
Also, (I'm 16 btw) my dad monitors my warning lights and I've told him i want to put a test pipe on and he freaks out about emissions, and thinks it can somehow mess up the car, but he doesnt monitor my money. So could i buy some sort of "tricked" o2 sensor for behind the cat?

The process on VFAQ is a little above my experience level. Any other products like the second that are actually for sale?

Edit: NVM found it. Thank you.
