Guess that hole

Its a fwd turbo trans just back from a rebuild. Cant remember what went there, I do have a black rubber cap I think I remember being there but theres nothing there. In the picture theres two threaded bolts above the hole is in line with the axel.

It's really hard to tell with the flash but it may be the vent hole.

Yup, vent hole. That rubber mushroom looking thing goes in there.

I would check around your garage floor. Many people bump them and they fall out and roll off on the floor.
