I am looking to purchase a new turbo setup soon so i decided to start looking around and found a garrett gt35 71 trim. I've heard of dsmer's using a gt35 60 trim. Could we possibly use this 71 and what would the gain be from 60 to a 71. Sorry sounds newbish but trying to learn.

Well ive bought some things and im waiting till i can find a shell right now, put a 6 bolt in a 4 bolt rear end. I just wanted to know if this would work on our car what mods would have to be done and hear suggestions on other turbo setups. But thank you for all the help :thumb:

Just to be clear, it's not that you can't put a GT-35 on your car (searching you'll find many have so already), just that unless you're car is setup for 500-600HP, that kind of turbo will be a huge disappointment performance-wise.

Here's a good place to start on your buildup. You can also look to the Dyno or 1/4 mile times to see what it took to get to that level :thumb:

BTW, I think you meant 71mm not "trim", as the non-BB GT-35 comes in 71mm 52trim :dsm:
